The Game Ready system is a medical-grade cold and compression therapy device designed to help manage pain and swelling after orthopaedic surgery, injury or intensive rehabilitation. It combines continuous cold therapy with adjustable intermittent compression, helping patients recover more comfortably than traditional ice packs alone. 

 Unlike standard ice packs, the Game Ready system circulates chilled water through an anatomically designed wrap while applying intermittent compression around the treatment area. This combination helps:

• Deliver consistent cooling throughout treatment

Anyone can hire a Game Ready system through Recovery Ready.

Many of our customers are referred by surgeons or physiotherapists, but referrals are not required.

We recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks before your surgery to ensure availability.

This allows us to organise delivery so your machine is ready when you return home.

Yes. If you didn't arrange a booking beforehand, contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to organise a machine quickly, subject to availability.

Most customers choose:

• 2 weeks for arthroscopy and smaller procedures 
• 4 weeks for knee replacements, ACL reconstruction and major orthopaedic surgery 

Your surgeon or physiotherapist may recommend a different hire period depending on your recovery

 Each hire includes:

• Game Ready control unit 
• One treatment wrap (your chosen body area) 
• Carry bag 
• Power supply 
• User instructions 
• Cleaning and preparation before every hire

 Recovery Ready currently offers wraps for:

Additional wrap options may become available in the future.

For infection control, every customer receives a new patient wrap. The wrap is yours to keep after your hire ends. Only the control unit, carry bag and accessories are returned.

Yes.

Recovery Ready partners with orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and rehabilitation providers throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast to ensure patients have access to premium cold compression therapy at home.

Some private health insurers may provide benefits for post-operative recovery equipment under certain policies. We recommend checking directly with your health fund to determine whether you're eligible for reimbursement.
